Furia celor pagubiti – casa fostului sef al RBS a fost vandalizata
Casa fostului sef al Royal Bank of Scotland a fost atacata de persoane necunoscute care i-au spart ferestrele; trebuie spus ca fostul sef al bancii care a dus in mare masura banca in actualul colaps financiar ce a necesitat folosirea banilor britanicilor pentru a fi salvata, s-a pensionat, primind pentru "meritele" sale o pensie modesta de numai 1,2 milioane usd pe an !!!!!!
EDINBURGH, Scotland — Vandals attacked the home of the former head of the Royal Bank of Scotland, smashing windows early Wednesday at the house of the ex-CEO who resigned in disgrace but with an annual pension of about 700,000 pounds ($1.2 million).
Three windows were smashed at Fred Goodwin’s sandstone Victorian house in one of Edinburgh’s upscale suburbs. The rear window of a black Mercedes S600 car parked in the driveway was also broken.
Goodwin was already the focus of much public anger about bank failures and wider economic problems in Britain. The British government has committed to investing 33 billion pounds to prop up the bank, while taking a majority stake in the company.
An e-mail send Wednesday to The Edinburgh Evening News claimed that the attack was carried out by “Bank Bosses are Criminals,” a previously unknown group. The claim could not be independently verified.
Police officers stood guard outside the house while workmen cleared shards of glass from the yard.
Neighbors said Goodwin, who also owns a house in Glasgow, has not been seen at the Edinburgh residence since he testified before members of Parliament in February about the bank’s near-collapse.

Daca asta a fost sarcina lui,mi se pare normal sa fie recompensat pentru ca si-a indeplinit cu brio sarcinile de servici.Altfel ar fi fost demis.

Elvetia, Andorra, Cayman? Inca nu stie, desi isi cauta evident un exil. Fred Goodwin, fostul sef al Royal Bank of Scotland, a ajuns unul dintre cei mai urati oameni din tara sa. Dupa ce a provocat bancii sale pierderi de 20 de miliarde de euro, la plecare si`a tras un bonus de 20 de milioane. Sa fie acolo, la batranete, si`o fi zis fostul sef, odinioara cel mai bine cotat bancher al Marii Britanii. Deputatii vor sa`i ia banii inapoi, inclusiv pensia. Presa e mult mai directa: “Luati`i Porsche`ul si la puscarie cu el!”, titreaza tabloidele locale.
